I’ve been using Laravel and CodeIgniter for a very long time now(around 3 years each) and I find it incredible how many people still think that Laravel is the “best-to-go” framework when in reality I always end up changing a lot of its core code just make sure I use only what I need without the necessity of having loads and loads of unnecessary libraries; by far CodeIgniter is way better the only con is that it uses old versions of PHP(right now they’re working on version 4 but until then I cannot say the opposite).
Good article!.
